What are Xumo Credits?
Xumo Credits are savings that are automatically applied toward streaming subscriptions and content purchases made through your Xumo account — so you can lower your costs and watch even more.
How do I get Xumo Credits?
Xumo Credits are occasionally awarded as part of special promotions and offers.
When credits are available to earn, Xumo will let you know through
- your email
- your Xumo Device
- the Xumo website

How do I get a Xumo Credit offer, if I am eligible?
If you are a customer of a participating internet provider, you may be eligible for Xumo Credits when you sign up for a Xumo Stream Box through that provider. To get started, order a Xumo Stream Box from your internet provider and complete device activation. During setup, you will automatically create a Xumo account. Once you’ve activated your Xumo Stream Box and created your Xumo account, Xumo Credits will be added to your Xumo account within 24 hours of activation if you are eligible. Full eligibility requirements and step by step instructions for receiving Xumo Credits are included in the promotional materials for each offer. Be sure to review the offer terms for complete details.
How do I know if Xumo Credits have been added to my account?
You’ll receive an email notification when credits are added to your account. You can a view your credits balance by going to the
- Subscriptions tab in your Xumo account dashboard > Your Xumo Credits, which will display your credit balance.
- You can also check the Transactions tab to see if you received Xumo Credits, as well as their expiration date.
What can I use my credits on?
Xumo Credits can be applied toward subscription costs of 100+ apps and channels purchased through your Xumo account, like Apple TV, HBO Max, Peacock, AMC+, MGM+ and more.
There are multiple ways to browse and select eligible apps:
- xumo.com/subscriptions
- The Xumo Store on your device.
- Say “Xumo Store” into your voice remote
- Select the Store tile on your home screen
Credits can only be applied to purchases made through Xumo. Purchases within third party apps are not eligible.
Which Xumo-billed apps can I use Xumo Credits on?
The following subscriptions are eligible for use of Xumo Credits if they are purchased using your account on Xumo:
- HBO Max
- Peacock
- ViX Premium
- NBA League Pass
- Apple TV+
To purchase these subscriptions with your Xumo account, you must follow the on-screen offer experience that will populate on your Xumo home screen to purchase eligible apps on a Xumo Stream Box. If you navigate directly to individual apps (e.g., if you launch and enter Apple TV+ on your Xumo device), you may not be able to use your Xumo account to purchase the app.
Purchases of most apps can also be made online at xumo.com/subscriptions and will qualify for this offer. Peacock is not currently available to purchase on xumo.com and must be purchased through your Xumo device.

How do I use my credits?
Credits are automatically applied at checkout when you subscribe to an eligible app or channel with your Xumo account, no promo codes or extra steps needed.
You must have a valid payment method on file to use Xumo Credits. Learn how to add a credit card to your account here.
Once Xumo Credits are applied, any remaining balance will be charged to the payment method associated with your account.

How do I know if Xumo Credits have been applied to my purchase?
If you’ve received credits, they’ll be automatically applied to your next purchase on your Xumo Stream Box or on xumo.com. If you make a purchase on your Xumo Stream Box, double-check that you purchase through Xumo. See below for examples of what this looks like on your device.
Can I choose not to use credits on a purchase?
Once credits are added to your account, they will be automatically applied to each subsequent eligible purchase until they run out. You will not be able to opt out of credits being applied to purchases.
Do credits expire?
Yes. Xumo Credits do have an expiration date, and the timing can vary by offer. The expiration details are always included with each promotion, so be sure to review the offer terms and use your credits before they expire. You can check your remaining balance and see when your credits expire at xumo.com/transactions.
How much are Xumo Credits worth?
Xumo Credits do not have cash value, but each credit is equivalent to $1 off your streaming subscription and content purchase costs. Xumo Credits will be applied automatically when available.
Xumo users qualify for 6 months of Peacock Premium at no extra cost. Will my credits be applied if I redeem this offer?
If you redeem this offer, your credits will not be applied to the 6 months of Peacock Premium included with your Xumo device. If you have credits in your account at the end of the 6-month period and choose to renew your subscription, your credits will be automatically applied. If you want to upgrade from Peacock Premium to Peacock Premium Plus, Xumo Credits will be applied to the cost of the upgrade.
Do Xumo Credits get applied to Xumo Premium Channels 7-day free trials?
You can continue to take advantage of 7-day free trials of Xumo Premium Channels without impacting your Xumo Credits balance. If you continue your subscription past the 7-day free trial once it ends, any available Xumo Credits will be applied to your purchase.
Can multiple offers or promotions be combined with Xumo Credits?
Yes, Xumo Credits can still be applied to purchases with other discounts or promotions. If an eligible app or channel is discounted with a special offer or promotion, any available Xumo Credits will be applied to the discounted price, when purchased using your Xumo account.
Are credits refundable?
Credits are non-refundable.
Do I need to keep my Xumo account active to keep my credits?
You must have an active Xumo account to use Xumo Credits. If you deactivate your account, your credits balance will be reset to $0.
Are taxes and fees covered by Xumo Credits?
Credits are automatically applied to eligible purchases, including taxes and fees, until they run out.
Is there a limit to how many Xumo Credits can be applied to each purchase?
There is no limit to how many Xumo Credits can be applied to purchases with your Xumo account. Credits will be automatically applied to eligible purchases until they run out.

How do I get this offer?
To get this offer, sign up for Xumo Stream Box through Mediacom, then activate your device. During setup, you’ll be able to create a Xumo account. How do I know if I qualify for this offer?

If I already have a Xumo Stream Box or account, do I qualify for Xumo Credits?
Only Mediacom Xumo customers who activate their Xumo Stream Box and create a Xumo account between June 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 will qualify.
