Instead of creating a new username and password, you can use your existing provider login to create your Xumo account during activation. Which providers can I use to sign in?
Currently, Spectrum customers can use their Spectrum credentials to create and sign in to their Xumo account.
How do I sign in with my provider?
During device activation, you can select Spectrum to link your Xumo account.
By selecting Spectrum, you'll be asked to agree to and acknowledge the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Data Sharing Policy. You can then use your Spectrum credentials to finish setting up your Xumo device.
What if I do not want to log in with my provider?
During device activation, you can select Do it myself when prompted to pick your internet provider. You can then link your account using the QR code on screen or by visiting www.xumo.com/activate and entering the unique 6-digit activation code displayed on your TV.
How do I sign in to my Xumo account with my Spectrum account?
If you are logging in via xumo.com, select the option to sign in with your provider. You will be redirected to your provider to sign in with your Spectrum credentials, then back to xumo.com.
How can I sign in if my internet provider isn't listed?
Currently, we only offer the ability to sign in with Spectrum credentials. Check back for additional provider options in the future.
Can I link my existing Xumo account with my provider?
If you have an existing Xumo account, you cannot currently link it to your provider.
Can I unlink my provider from my Xumo account?
Yes. You can unlink your provider from your Xumo account by selecting Unlink. Then, create a password for your account to finish unlinking.
I created an account through my provider. Why can’t I access the Xumo portal?
To access your account through xumo.com, you’ll need a verified email address. To verify your email, sign in to xumo.com via your provider, then follow the instructions on-screen.
I switched providers and can’t log in to Xumo. What should I do?
- If you have a verified email address on file, click this link to create a password for your account and unlink your provider.
- If you do not have an email address on file, factory reset your device to create a new Xumo account.
Note: You can still use your device to watch content without updating your account, but you will not have access to all Xumo’s account benefits and features.
