What restoring factory settings does
Restoring factory settings wipes your personal preferences and removes the Stream Box from your Xumo account, and signs you out of all apps and subscriptions. Your current subscriptions or purchases will not be affected. If you decide to use your Stream Box after restoring factory settings, you’ll need to sign into your apps again to watch them.
How to restore factory settings
- Go to Settings > System management > Resets & updates on your Stream Box.
- Enter your parental control PIN if necessary.
- Follow the onscreen prompts. Note: please keep the device connected to power until you see the screen go black.
- Once your devices factory settings have been restored, you’ll be shown the welcome screen and be prompted to set up your Stream Box again.
