Yes! Select users can sign in to Xumo via third-party credentials. Your Xumo account will be managed via the third party and you can update your account settings through xumo.com after verifying your email address.
Which providers are available for me to choose from?
Currently, Spectrum users can use their Spectrum credentials to create their Xumo account.
How do I sign in with my provider?
During device activation, you will see an option to continue with your provider after entering your 6-digit activation code. If you choose to do so and agree to Xumo’s data sharing notice, you will be redirected to your provider to sign in. After signing in, you will be redirected back to Xumo and your new account will be created!
If you are logging in via xumo.com, select the option to sign in with your provider. You will be redirected to your provider to sign in with those credentials, then back to xumo.com.
I use an internet service that is not listed. How can I sign in with my provider?
Currently, we only offer the ability to sign in with Spectrum credentials. Check back for updated provider options in the future!
Can I link my existing Xumo account with my provider?
If you have an existing Xumo account, you cannot currently link it to your provider.
Can I unlink my provider from my Xumo account?
Yes. You can unlink your provider from your Xumo account in your Xumo portal by selecting Unlink. Then, create a password for your account to finish unlinking.
I created an account through my provider. Why can’t I access the Xumo portal?
To access your account through xumo.com, you’ll need a verified email address. To verify your email, sign in to xumo.com via your provider, then follow the instructions on-screen.
I switched providers and can’t log in to Xumo. What should I do?
- If you have a verified email address on file, select this link to create a password for your account and unlink from your provider.
- If you do not have an email address on file, factory reset your device to create a new Xumo account.
Note: you can still use your device to watch content without updating your account, but you will not have access to all of Xumo’s account benefits and features.
