Set Spectrum TV as your primary viewing preference to get the most out of your Xumo Stream Box. Once it's set up, the Xumo Home screen can highlight your Spectrum TV content, making it quicker to jump into live TV and discover shows available with your Spectrum service.
Note: Setting Spectrum TV as your primary viewing preference doesn't change your TV service. It simply tells your Xumo Home screen to prioritize your Spectrum TV experience, making it easier to access your live Spectrum TV channels and related content.
Benefits of setting Spectrum TV as your primary viewing preference
- Browse Spectrum TV channels from the integrated Live TV Guide on your Xumo Home screen.
- Discover Spectrum TV shows and movies directly from your Xumo Home screen.
- Jump into live Spectrum TV from the Currently Playing tile, which displays your last watched channel and what's currently airing.
Set Spectrum TV as your primary viewing preference
Before you begin, make sure you're signed in to the Spectrum TV app on your Xumo Stream Box.
- Start from the Home screen: Press the
button on your remote to return to the Xumo Home screen.
- Navigate to Settings: Press the Quick Access (…) button on your remote, scroll right to Settings, then press OK.
- Access Viewing Preferences: Scroll to Viewing Preferences and press OK on your remote to select it.
- Manage your TV provider: Under TV provider, select Manage, then press OK.
- Select Spectrum TV: Select the Spectrum tile.
- Rearrange provider order: Use the left and right arrows on your remote navigation pad to move Spectrum TV to the Preferred position.
- Select Save.
Once saved, your Xumo Home screen will use Spectrum TV as your preferred source for live TV features.
