Locating your Xumo Play Client ID

Your Xumo Play Client ID is a unique 12-digit number that helps our support team identify your device when troubleshooting issues. This number allows us to provide you with faster assistance and personalized support.

Your client ID can be found on your connected TV, mobile device, and Xumo play website.

On Connected TVs

Follow these steps to find your Client ID on your TV screen.

  • Launch the Xumo Play app on your TV
  • Navigate to Settings
  • Select Additional Information
  • Locate Xumo Play Client ID

Your Client ID will be displayed on this screen.

Connected TVs include: X1 and Flex cable boxes, Xumo Stream Boxes and TVs, Fire TV, Google TV, Roku devices, SmartCast, Hisense, Samsung and Apple TV

 

On Mobile Devices (iOS & Android)

Access your Client ID through the Settings menu in the Xumo Play app.

  • Open the Xumo Play app
  • Tap Browse
  • Tap the Settings icon
  • Find Xumo Play Client ID

Your Client ID will appear within the Settings menu.

On the Website (play.xumo.com)

Find your Client ID at the bottom of the Xumo Play website.

  • Visit play.xumo.com in your web browser
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page
  • Locate your Xumo Play Client ID in the footer
