Picture and sound
About picture and sound
Choose your picture, sound and language preferences. Customize resolution and adjust audio settings like preferred language, digital audio output HDMI and digital audio delay HDMI. To watch content in Full High Definition (FHD), confirm that your picture resolution is set to 1080p, and to watch content in Ultra High Definition (UHD) 4K, confirm that your picture resolution is set to 2160p.
Network
About network
Check your internet connection, manage your WiFi network and set your TV’s location. View your Network connection status and reset, if needed. Explore Advanced settings to check your device’s IP settings, turn WiFi on or off and make your device easier to find when connecting to Bluetooth by defining its location.
Accessibility
About accessibility
Get the most out of your device with audio descriptions, closed captions and high contrast settings. Turn on Audio descriptions to hear commentary describing the action in a program, if available. Turn on and customize the appearance of closed captions to display the dialogue and additional descriptions during a program. Connected devices
About connected devices
Connect your remote to your TV. This will help you pair your remote to your TV, as well as connect your own speaker system to use for audio instead of your TV’s speakers.
Parental
About parental
Choose to require a PIN for purchases or apps and adjust PIN settings. Here, you can restrict purchases on your device and access to select apps by requiring a PIN to proceed.
Note: If you forget your PIN, you’ll be required to restore factory settings on your TV to reset it.
Privacy
About privacy
Manage your privacy settings. Choose whether to allow Xumo Stream Box for Business to display your recent watch history to easily jump back in where you left off. Choose whether to allow app data sharing and personalized recommendations for a more customized experience. Choose your ad preferences or reset your unique advertising ID. Start up and standby
About startup and standby
Set up power-saving and startup options that suit your routine. Choose when to put your Xumo Stream Box for Business in standby mode and whether to stay connected to the internet to save energy. For more information, see How to manage power settings below. You can also set a sleep timer and customize if live TV will play automatically when your device is turned on.
How to manage power settings
- Your Xumo Stream Box for Business may be set to automatically enter standby mode after long periods of inactivity. To wake your device, press the
button.
- Set a custom standby mode by going to Settings > Start up and standby > Auto standby.
- Set a sleep timer by going to Settings > Start up and standby > Sleep timer.
Why is the screen dark after I plug in my Xumo Stream Box for Business?
After you initially set up your Xumo Stream Box for Business, whenever you reconnect it to power (either by unplugging/plugging it back in, turning off/on a power strip or when power is restored following an outage), it will boot up in Standby mode. This ensures the Stream Box doesn't turn on and stay on in the event that power is restored after an outage.
Note: Press the button to wake your device from standby mode.
System management
About system management
Find system info, update apps and restore factory settings on your device. Select your region and time zone to sync your device to the right time and choose the system language displayed on menus and messages throughout your Xumo Stream Box for Business. Come here to factory reset your device, refresh apps and delete any locally stored data.
To update your device language:
Go to Settings > System Management > Region & Language > System Language to change your device language setting. Both English and Spanish are supported.
