If you purchase a subscription to a consumer app through the Xumo account you use for your Xumo Stream Box for Business devices, you will not be able to watch the app on your Xumo Stream Box for Business due to content rights. What is Spectrum TV?
The Spectrum TV app lets you watch your favorite programming right from your Xumo device.
Take the Spectrum TV app feature tour:
- Open the Spectrum TV app.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Tips, then select Tips again.
- Swipe through the feature screens to learn more about the Spectrum TV app.
How do I set up a startup channel in the Spectrum TV app?
You can choose a default startup channel to play automatically every time you sign in to the Spectrum TV app.
To set your startup channel:
- Sign in to the Spectrum TV app.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Select Preferences.
- Choose Startup Channel and then Manage Startup Channel. Make sure Startup Channel is toggled ON.
- Select a startup channel from your list of Favorites, or from the channel lineup. Your changes will take effect when you quit and relaunch the Spectrum TV app.
Note: If Startup Channel is toggled OFF, you'll see the last channel you were watching whenever you reopen the Spectrum TV app.
You'll need to set your startup channel on each new device. You can change your preferences at any time by following the steps above.
How do I watch live TV in the Spectrum TV app?
To watch live TV in the Spectrum TV app:
- Open the Spectrum TV app.
- Select Live TV at the top of your screen.
- To view in full screen, tap on the video.

- If you don’t see a program listed in Live TV, it’s either currently unavailable or may not be included in your Spectrum TV subscription.
- Closed Captioning (CC): Select the (CC) icon on the screen to activate.
- Secondary Audio Program (SAP): Select the SAP icon on the screen to activate.
How do I add TV shows to my Favorites List in the Spectrum TV app?
- Open the Spectrum TV app.
- Select a program from the Guide.
- Select Add to Favorites.
- Go to the main Guide screen and select the down arrow icon found in the top-right corner.
- You can filter channels to view your Favorites.
How do I update parental controls in the Spectrum TV app?
- Open the Spectrum TV app.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Parental Controls.
- Select the toggle button for Parental Controls. You can filter programs by channel or rating.

To pair Xumo Stream Box for Business with a new EverPass account, follow these steps:
- Find the EverPass app on the home screen or by saying “EverPass” into your voice remote.
- Select Activate Now.
- Scan the QR code with your phone or tablet, or visit manager.everpass.com/pair on your computer to link your device with your account and start streaming.
- Once your device is successfully paired with your account, you’ll be able to schedule the events you want to watch based on your subscription.
