Do I need a Xumo account to use my Xumo Stream Box?

Yes. You must register your Xumo Stream Box with a Xumo account to use your device. All you need to provide is an email and password. If you are a Spectrum customer, you can access your Xumo account via your Spectrum credentials.

Note: For Xfinity customers, a Xumo account is not required to use your Xumo Stream Box. You will use your Xfinity username and password.

When you create an account, you have the option to add a payment method to purchase movies, shows and subscriptions through your Xumo Stream Box. You can also use your Xumo account to manage your preferences, subscriptions and paired devices, as well as view your purchase history.

How do I create my Xumo account?

You’ll be prompted to create a Xumo account when you set up your Xumo Stream Box. All you need is an email and password. You’ll also have the option to add a credit or debit card as your payment method to make purchases on your device.

Can I use the same Xumo account for multiple Xumo Stream Boxes?

Yes! You can link multiple Xumo devices to the same account. Just sign in with your Xumo account when you set up your device.

Can I use the same Xumo account that I use for my Xumo TV?

Yes! A Xumo account is for all your Xumo devices, including Xumo TV and Xumo Stream Box. Just sign in with your Xumo account when you set up your device.

I don’t see a pairing code on my Xumo Stream Box. What should I do?

To connect your Xumo Stream Box to your Xumo account, enter the 6-digit code you see on-screen at xumo.com/activate. If you reach the Link your Account screen and do not see a 6-digit code appear, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Wait 30 seconds.

If you’re still not seeing a code:

  1. Select Skip & Set up later.
  2. Confirm that you want to skip that step.
  3. Select the Xumo tile.
  4. Repeat, if necessary.

If you’re still not seeing a code appear after these steps, try unplugging your device and plugging it back in, then repeating the activation process.
