Xumo TV offers a range of features to help you personalize your setup. Whether you want to organize your favorite apps or seamlessly access premium content, customizing your TV is easy and intuitive.
In this article, you’ll learn how to:
Rearrange the apps row on your Xumo TV home screen
Before you begin, identify which version of the Xumo TV interface you have. This will help ensure you follow the correct steps for your device.
There are two ways to identify your version:
- Press the
button on your remote or scroll down to the Settings tile on your home screen.
- If the first item in the Settings menu is Closed captions, follow the instructions for the Berry version.
- If the first item in the Settings menu is Picture and sound, follow the instructions for the Teal version.
- Look for one of the following logos in the top-left corner of your TV screen:

If you see this logo, follow the instructions for the Berry version.

Once you've identified your version, follow the corresponding instructions below.
Berry version: Rearrange the apps row
Navigate to your Apps row (below the first row on the home screen) and follow these steps:
- Find the apps row on the home screen and hover over the app you would like to move.
- Using your Xumo TV remote, Press the
button over the app you want to move.
- Move the app left or right using your remote’s navigation pad.
- Press Enter or the
button to place the app in the position you want or hit Back to cancel your edit.
Teal version: Rearrange the apps row
Navigate to your Apps & Inputs row (below the first row on the home screen) and follow these steps:
- Scroll all the way to the right until you get to Manage Apps and select OK.
- Using your Xumo TV remote, select up to 30 of your favorite apps you would like to appear first on your list.
- Select Continue.
- Manage the order you will like the apps to appear by using your remote. Select the app you would like to move and use the navigation pad to move it left or right. Press Enter to place the app in position.
- When finished simply press the
or
button to exit.
Customize which apps appear in your Xumo TV apps row
You can add up to 30 more apps that are currently not in your apps row. Before you begin customizing which apps appear in your apps row, first identify which version of the Xumo TV interface you have. This will help ensure you follow the correct steps for your device.
Berry version: Customizing apps
Launch any app that isn’t already in your home page apps row.
- Exit the app by pressing
button on your remote.
- Navigate to the top row on your home screen and scroll left or right to find the tile for the app you launched.
- Hover over the tile and press
on your remote.
- Select Add to Apps Row and your app will be placed in the 9th position in your Apps Row.
Tip: You can move the app to a new location by pressing the button when on the app and then by pressing left or right using the navigation pad on the remote.
Teal version: Customizing apps
- Navigate to the Apps & Inputs row and scroll over and select Manage Apps.
- Select the apps you would like as your favorites in your Apps & Inputs row (up to 30), then hit Continue.
- Arrange the order of the apps using your remote. Select the app you would like to move by using the navigation pad to move it left or right. Hit Enter to lock it place.
Note: After initial setup of your Favorites list, you can manage the list of apps you see on your Home screen.

Xumo TVs come with 250+ popular apps preloaded, so there’s no need to download, install, or delete anything. Everything is ready to use right out of the box. See the previous sections to learn how to customize which apps appear on your home screen and to prioritize your favorites.
Xumo regularly adds new apps, which are automatically added to your device when available. Additionally, all apps update automatically over the internet, so you'll always have the latest versions without any extra steps.
