You can set your Xumo TV to start on a specific screen or input every time you switch it on.
By default, your TV opens to the Home screen, but you can change this to another input like HDMI or Antenna.
Before you begin, identify which version of the Xumo TV interface you have so you can follow the correct steps to set your preferred startup screen.
Xumo TV version
There are two ways to identify your version:
- Press the
button on your remote or scroll down to the Settings tile on your home screen.
- If the first item in the Settings menu is Closed captions, select the Berry tab.
- If the first item in the Settings menu is Picture and sound, select the Teal tab.
- Look for one of the following logos in the top-left corner of your TV screen:
If you see this logo, select the Berry tab.
If you see this logo, select the Teal tab.

Assigning a default input
You can choose which screen or input your TV opens to when powered on. To set your preferred startup screen:
- Go to Settings > Antenna and inputs on your TV.
- Select the Default input setting.
- Select your preferred option:
a. Home
b. Last used input
c. Antenna
d. HDMI 1
e. HDMI 2
f. HDMI 3
g. Composite
This setting will take effect the next time you turn on your TV after changing it.

Assigning a default input
You can choose which screen or input your TV opens to when powered on. To set your preferred startup screen:
- Go to Settings > Startup and standby on your TV.
- Turn Default to live TV OFF.
- Select the Wake to preferred input setting.
- Select your preferred option:
a. Home
b. Last used input
c. Antenna
d. HDMI 1
e. HDMI 2
f. HDMI 3
g. Composite
