How do I set up the mobile app? (Xumo TV ONLY)
When you open the app for the first time, you’ll get step-by-step instructions on how to pair your mobile device with your TV. If you choose to pair a mobile device later, just go to Settings > Device settings > Xumo TV app on your TV.
Please note that you won’t be able to pair your mobile device to your TV if your TV is offline – you’ll need to connect your TV to the Internet and make sure it’s connected to the same network as your mobile device.
Once you select the TV you’d like to pair with, your TV will display a pairing code. Enter the pairing code into the app to complete the pairing process.
Note: The Xumo TV mobile app can only be paired with Xumo TVs and will not pair with other Xumo devices.
Can I pair multiple devices with my TV?
Yes! You can pair as many mobile devices as you’d like with your TV. Just make sure each device has the Xumo TV app downloaded.
Something’s not working. How can I fix it?
If you’re having trouble with the Xumo TV app, the steps below can solve most common issues.
- Delete and re-install the app on your mobile device.
- Make sure your mobile device has the latest update installed.
- Check that your TV and mobile device are connected to the same internet network. If your TV can't be discovered, restart by going to Settings > Power Preferences > Restart.
- Unpair your mobile device from your TV and pair it again.
Note: The remote in your Xumo TV app can only pair if the TV is fully activated, and the Home screen is displayed.
